Woocommerce plugin

To consider

1. Before adding our plugin, you must make sure you have the WooCommerce activated on the WordPress platform.

Steps for using the service

1. Wordpress

1. Enter your Wordpress store as an “administrator” user.
   
2. Select “Plugins --> add new” from the left menu.
   
3. Type “Greenpay payment Gateway” in the search bar.
   
4. Click on install.
   

2. Manually

1. Download the .zip file from Wordpress
   
2. Enter your Wordpress store as an “administrator” user.
   
3. Select “Plugins --> add new” from the left menu.
   
4. A new screen will be displayed, right-click on “Upload plugin”, on the upper left corner. It will show the computer file directory, select the downloaded file.
   

3. Once the plugin is installed, you must click the activation option.

¿How is our plugin configured?

Before adding our plugin, the Woocommerce plugin must be activated on Wordpress.

To configure our plugin you must go to “WooCommerce → Settings”, where the Woocommerce configuration options will be displayed, and the “Payments” tab must be selected.

This tab shows all the payment options that WooCommerce offers with the one added by our plugin, as shown in the following image.

Click on "Manage", which will display the plugin configuration window, where you must add the credentials sent by Greenpay via email. As shown in the following image:

After adding the data, click on save, and your customers will be able to pay by credit / debit cards. 

Regarding the type of currency (CRC, USD) to configure, this is done according to the terminal requested, either for dollars or colones respectively.

How to activate the subscriptions service in our plugin? 

To use our plugin subscription functionality, the “WooCommerce subscriptions” plugin must be activated. Our plugin automatically recognizes if the WooCommerce subscription plugin is active,and enables the “Form Token URL” field which is used to charge for subscriptions

Permalink setup

1. In the WordPress administration panel, navigate to "Settings" > "Permalinks".
   
   

   

2. In the Permalinks section configure the following options as shown below:
   

1. In the "Common Settings" section, select "Custom Structure" and enter the value /%category%/
   
   

   

2. In the "Product permalinks" section select the "Custom base" option and enter the value /product/
   
   

   

3. Click on the "Save changes" button to apply the changes made.
